Materials

Our 3 most commonly used materials are listed below with links for more information and colour options. Each material comes in a range of colours (with more coming soon!). Click on the material for colour choices and laser cutting information.

LASER CUT WOOD

3mm & 4mm wood - we offer 2 types of wood for laser cutting, 3mm is a laserable wood that has a coated finish (so no need for varnishing) and our 4mm wood is a veneered MDF that is great if you want an unfinished surface to play with before you add a coat of varnish.

LASER CUT ACRYLIC

3mm acrylic - available in 22 colours (with more to come). Best used to cut simple silhouette designs, not the best for etching details in it's surface. Comes supplied with protective paper still on.

2 TONE PLASTIC

1.6mm etchable plastic - great for etching intricate designs onto simple shapes, available in a range of colours. It's much thinner than acrylic but is good for layering, has a bit of flexibility because it's quite thin - so it's not best for intricately cut designs as it can break easy.
