Our new reverse engrave acrylic is closest in finish to our ever popular mirrored acrylic. It consists of a clear acrylic sheet with a painted colour layer and then black protective backing applied behind the colour. It leaves a good contrast finish when engraving and it wonderful for paint filling the engraving. The engraving is a frosted clear finish and is semi transparent so it’s a fabulous material for projects using backlighting.

Plastic finish
Gloss finish top side and painted black backing

Laser Cutting
Cuts well with a smooth unmarked edge.

Raster Etching
Etches well with contrast (see photos). Paint fill adds to the effect of the reverse engraving by adding coloured details to the base colour.. Minimum line width 0.5mm

Protective paper
Applied front and back (will need to be pealed off when received). Can be engraved / cut  without the paper on the back side.
